Comprises one copy of Part 1 of "Extracts taken from the diaries of William Lyall". Part 1 covers the period January 1851 to December 1868. Part 2 is catalogued separately. Extracts are from the diaries of William Lyall, esq., of "Harewood", Western Port, Victoria, and members of his family. Extracts were compiled by his grand daughter Bertha Irene Ricardo in May 1956. Also includes family history compiled by Bertha Irene Ricardo from the diary of Margaret Lyall.
